I could maybe see something qualifying as "related games" and "related technologies" boards. They can be related directly by technology and culture.
We could talk about video downloaders like yt-dlp, preserving content and the importance of search engines in the context of forums and Discord. Those things interact with Blockland and its theme, technology and culture. There are bigger places for these topics but we should expose people to other people working with other technologies particularly if there is a Blockland nexus. (ie. preserving Blockland videos on YouTube)
We could talk about Roblox and Brickadia or whatever but we would need to figure out how to limit drama. It's super difficult because drama can actually be really important information (Roblox has no shortage of predators, would we forbid anyone from talking about specific people?) but interpretations can vary. There are other places for drama about Roblox and Minecraft so I think we'd be OK with a no-drama rule.
A true off-topic board sounds like a bad idea. I don't think we need people to hang around here all day to discuss every problem in their lives. BLF basically became the Off-Topic Forum somewhere after 2015 and now nobody's posting Blockland content there anymore.
