This is actually a really disturbing trend though it's obvious why a Steam product's official board is controlled by the game's owners. I'm bringing this up again because I saw someone talking about another game with a subreddit controlled by the game's owners so they couldn't be criticized. Unfortunately I can't remember the game or context. Developers could turn their games into malware and nobody could say a word where it matters.
