Once you get kicked out you lose out on a lot of information. There's an incredible amount of resources and problem diagnosing in BCC for Blockland that'll never find its way to anyone outside of that server. At least if it's on the web you can still reference it even if you've been barred from participating.

A growing number of TLDs require HTTPS and plenty of websites outright refuse to serve via HTTP which prevent Blockland from communicating with websites using normal TCPObjects. Anything sitting behind Cloudflare is typically a no-go as well. It's still possible, just harder. Shock recently worked on Blockland Glass here back around January, so maybe something will come of that.
Also, I recall Badspot being pretty against porting AOT or other content of his around, so that may be why BLG just deleted your mod, though it would have been nice if they gave you a reason as to why.

My takeaway was it had a lot of jank going on, but some cool concepts. Too many tools and incomplete systems. The gunplay also wasn't enjoyable due to whatever lag compensation they have going on. I feel like they let scope creep take over, meanwhile their plans for modding keep growing smaller. It seems like they're sticking with it though which can't be said about all the other attempts. So I can only hope they get on a good route and pull it off.
YOU vill own NOTHING, pay $60 for the UNMODDABLE GLORIFIED TECH DEMO...
I know you joke about the cosmetics (some are way over the top), but having a fair share of content baked into the game is good long term. Compare it to a new player's experience with Blockland where they start the game and get met with little to nothing.

Trying to completely reverse engineer the game and cram features in will never lead to a good result. You'd be better off just rewriting Blockland in T3D and modifying the engine to make it compatible with existing stuff. That's not to understate how much work that is, because it's a lot. But it's a much better time sink at least. I didn't have much to look forward to with B4v21 when I saw they preemptively banned people just based on old history.

Can't wait to see the last 2 of you guys in the Rockraiders United "Who here remembers Blockland" thread in another 10 years. Don’t forget: you’re here foreverI'll be here even after the lights go out unfortunately.
On a side note, I don't know how search engines take certain words into account. I feel like Google, etc. will rank sites lower if their bots come across certain words. It's the modern internet after all, and we're stuck living with it for now. For the sake of SEO and making sure this place is able to be found I'd appreciate holding back a bit.
